A bond of trust, security, and love for a soldier on Raksha Bandhan

In the name of a Rakhi soldier. The program was organized on 7th August 2022 at the historic Fateh Sagar Lake of Udaipur, the city of lakes. Under the program, the members expressed their feelings for the soldiers and sent Rakhi with their names in the form of a shield. Chamber President Dr. Neeta Mehta, Secretary Tina Soni, Vice President Dr. Reena Rathore, Former President Rita Mahajan, Bela Caravan, Bhavna Kanwadia, Archana Shaktawat etc. were present on this occasion.

Keeping in view the environment and keeping in view the present situation of Europe, Britain etc., a new project of Chamber "Ek step towards greenery" Under this, a tree plantation program was organized on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Hello Kids School, Sector 3 of Dr. Mamta ji Dhupia, in which the members of the chamber along with small children, under the leadership of program coordinator Kumud Gehlot, planted saplings together.

8th Foundation Day Celebration of UWCCI

Udaipur's 8th Foundation Day of Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industries, the closing of the year 2019-21 and the swearing-in ceremony of the new executive was held at Hotel Radisson Green. During this Corona time people from all walks of life came out and went out of way to help people who were suffering. We felicitated about 80 people by giving them certificates and the mementoes with their photographs on it. In this time of Covid 19, gatherings were not allowed so we went to different offices to felicitate corona warriors-starting from Collectorate to police offices to Hospitals. we are happy we could do it.

Fashion Show to create Atam Nirbhar Entrepeneurs

In order to create awareness and to sow the seed of becoming ATAM NIRBHAR, a fashion show was organized in the Mohanlal Sukhadia University, where the contestants were young girls students, who were given the task of arranging creative dresses within Rs 1800. This included purchasing the cloth, dye it, do patch work on it, put the lace etc. and stitch the dress, and then walk the ramp in this dress. The girls participating in this competition did fantastic job of making beautiful dresses.

Induction of new members

We inducted seven new members during calendar year 2019 before Pandemic, and thus strength of members has been increased from 24 to 31. We were not able to increase further due to Pandemic for almost last one year. New members are Dr Anju Giri, Darshna Singhvi, Manju Bordia, Dr Seema Parikh, Dr Chitra Ladha, Pooja Hinger and Isha Gupta.

In March 2019, for the 2 years term of 2019-2021, Mrs. Rita Mahajan was elected as President and Dr Neeta Mehta as Secretary. New Executive committee members were also elected.
